Flintridge Preparatory School’s class of 2019 took their first steps as high school graduates last Sunday when they walked the stage at the commencement ceremony. Held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, the event included remarks from the school’s headmaster Peter Bachmann and the chairman of the board of trustees, David Codiga.
Among the commencement speakers were the Benton Memorial Award recipient, Peter Mugemancuro, and Luke Stiles, who received the Founders Trophy. Elected class speaker Sinclaire Ledahl represented the class of 2019 in her remarks. The ceremony also recognized students’ academic, athletic and artistic achievements, highlighting students who received awards from Prep, external organizations and scholarship funds.
On the evening before commencement, Flintridge Prep held its baccalaureate ceremony in the campus’ Norris Auditorium and Ahmanson Plaza.
