Five Acres recently celebrated its 31st Golf Classic and Dinner “A Night at the Derby” at Oakmont Country Club in Glendale. Sponsorship committee chair Scott Street and co-chairs Danny and Joey Reaume were joined by auction chairs John Berger and Rustin Mork. The day included a golf tournament followed by a Kentucky Derby-themed dinner with live bluegrass, lawn games, best hat/bow tie contents and more. Thousands in critical funds were raised to fuel programs to prevent family separation and connect foster youth with loving, permanent homes. Top sponsors included Wells Fargo, Gallagher, the Berns Team, Richard A. McDonald, the William R. and Virginia Hayden Foundation, L.A. County Supervisor Kathryn Barger and Title Sponsors Bolton & Co. and Brad Reaume, who was also honored for his decades-long support of Five Acres.
