The Grand Pinot Tasting “PinotFaire” was recently held at the Altadena Town & Country Club, with a portion of ticket sales benefitting AbilityFirst. It was a gorgeous day to spend the afternoon sipping award-winning wines at the country club. More than 200 guests and wineries enjoyed the event while sipping 120 tastings and eating delicacies from local purveyor Howie’s Market and Alexander’s Prime Meats.
The room was filled with wine aficionados, wine lovers and local supporters. AbilityFirst CEO Lori Gangemi was on hand along with PinotFaire event producers Mike Farwell, Ramon Miramontes and Bonny Garcia. This year brought a new layer to the event — the Best of the Best wine competition, with local California winery Wedell Cellars taking home the prize for first place. A unique event to the community, the Grand Pinot Tasting helped unite the Pasadena and surrounding communities by celebrating and enjoying delicious wines while giving back to a long-standing charity in the community.
