Mayfield Senior School students enjoyed catching up as they had lunch together on the first day of class Monday, discussing summer activities such as internships, travel and classes. The 100-plus degree heat was made a bit more bearable with Popsicles, as many students headed for the shade and the air-conditioned student commons.
