Westridge School held its annual Yam Festival the Friday before Thanksgiving. Students and their parents come up with recipes for an amazing assortment of savory and sweet dishes made with yams, including salad, pie, muffins, cake pops, soup, cookies, latkes, chowder, pizza, coleslaw, cheesecake, gnocchi, stew, empanadas, mocha bars, pasta, biscuits, hummus and casserole. Parents served the yam-licious foods to the students during their lunch hour.
